Does Anyone Remember 26Red, the clothing company?

My friend had a pair of shoes with 26 Red on them. Wasn't that an earlier skateboard company??? Anywho, heres a link to a band:

it was out around 1995-97 when Mossimo and Stussy were still popular.they mainly made t shirts. anyone out there remember 26red??? send me a link and get 10 points.

One of my favorite shirts, I bought it in 1993, wad in 8th grade, it was black and had this rhyme on it. I believe this is the specific shirt, or one of, that spurred the drug rederence

"down down the stomach through, round round the system to, with 26 red you're sure to say, relief is just a trip away"

When teachers asked I would say it is a laxative. Which made sense- I don't know why my parents allowed me to have it. It totally could have been some drug reference, or a laxative.

I believe that was on the back of it and there was a silly charachters on the front made of, I think, basic shapes and primary colors and I think a text bubble with "26 red". Damn, I can't believe I remembered that poem. I wrote 26 on my arm today to remeber to ask the 26th off from work. Hours later I saw the number and and it clicked.

I lived in Virginia Beach at the time and got it with some surf brand ts which makes me think it was at WRV (WAve riding vehicles) or hotline.

If the company will only be t-shirts, what about "ME-shirts" you know, instead of T-shirts. Or you could do "Me-Ts" or "Me-Tees" or "Mee Tees". If you are positive that you will sell things other than shirts what about...Elite Outfitters?? Another option is to use your first, last or middle name. Or a combonation of those. You should use something that flows. For example if your name was Jennifer May Lewis you could use the names Jennifer May Jenny May J. Lewis M. Lewis May Maylou I like Maylou, and Mee-Shirts the best. But your name probably isn't Jennifer May Lewis so...

Very interesting I've been in fashion a long time and never heard of them. But of course the Apparel industry is one of the toughest business's out there so many companies come and go.

26 Red Jeans

Yeah I do, I had quite a few articles of their stuff - a few tshirts, a pair of jeans and a cap. I really liked their designs and they had a brilliant grasp of cool vintage stripes and things. My favourite t-shirt was a 26 red one that I wore to death.

A lot of people seem to think the brand was a drug reference, far from it - it referred to all the red cards in a standard deck. 52 cards - 26 red, 26 black.

Yeah they were the best shoes ever had a pair for 6 years wore them every day until I stepped in a bucket of paint I was so mad wish I could still for a pair today
