How cold would the air be in a tub 8ft below surface with a pipe connected to the surface?
What would be the temperature of the air in a pipe located 8 feet below the surface, assuming it is connected to an outlet at the surface? Additionally, how might factors such as ambient temperature, humidity, and any potential thermal insulation of the pipe affect this temperature?

Too many variables to say for sure. It depends on the the nature of its host, be it water, desert sand, or farm land, maybe. We did that way back when, to preserve milk till the creamery truck came came out and picked up our product.
