How do Pre-Printed Checks work?

I barely got my first bank account, and I’m not familiar with how checks work. My college is requiring me to pay a fee through a “preprinted check”. I have a small checkbook, but I don’t understand how I can get a pre-printed check or exactly what it is. I did the natural thing and googled “pre-printed checks”, but websites that I’ve never heard of before appear. I would like to have an opinion or suggestion from someone or people that have made a pre-printed check before. How can I get a pre-printed check?

Pre-printed means that when you look in the upper left hand corner of the check, you see:Your NameYour Street Address Your City, State and zip code.
