How do you make a header not fade when you put a header in…?

my header always loses its color when I put it in and I dont want it to fade..

It will print correctly. Check out Print Preview to see. In versions of Word prior to Word 2007, click the File->Print Preview menu item.In Word 2007:1. Click the round Office button in the upper-left corner of the window.2. Click Print->Print Preview.Hope that helps.... Show More

It looks faded when you look at it because the header/footer section is a second layer, behind the first and when you are in that section then the main body of the document becomes faded. When printed it prints normally. As you want it all to look normal what I suggest you do is change your margins to be only about .5cm top and bottom and put the logo in on the top of each page.... It’s not really faded.MS Word makes it look faded, so that you will know the difference between the header and the body. When you print your page, the header will be fine.... Show More
