How Do You Pronounce Edy’s Ice Cream?

I was always under the impression that it was pronounced the same way the male first name "Eddy" was pronounced. However, someone recently told me that instead, Edy is pronounced the way the female first name "Edy" is pronounced.Despite the shared way of spelling both the female name and the ice cream company, I have still never heard of anyone pronouncing it "Edy" which has a long E, so it’s "Eedy."If anyone know for sure, or has any type of evidence of the way it’s pronounced, that would be great!

I think Haagen-Daaz is much more satisfying than Edy’s Edy’s Icecream has a higher percentage of air whipped into it than Haagen-Daz. That makes it less rich and creamy.... Show More
