How do you rotate lots on Sims 2 for PC?

I see the rotate lot button, I press it, and then it doesn't rotate the lot instead it just does nothing help plz! and I do have enough space!

What do you mean rotate lots? Like when your placing it?? Just click on any spot and hold the mouse down while turning, then place where you want it?I guess I dont understand your question, elaborate?

Hmm. that's wierd.Make sure you don't have any decorations in the way. use the icon with the hand and the the arow. you should see a little triangle when you hover your mouse over the lot. it should pick it up and you could place it on an empty place.good luck
