Ma3rufsh Walahi…I know I’ve said this before but allot of them have left this section and are now on facebook. Bas allot of them are still missing even there. I used to love this section, but hardly anyone is on now. Which is a bit sad. If you’re new here then… Welcome…:)

These days you can learn how to speak Arabic over the internet. Check out this online course, it’s voted as the best Arabic online course of all time: http://www.rocketlearner.com/arabic The course is very easy to follow, I was able to learn Arabic in just 3 months.

I live in New York City, I wanted to go to a Arabic language teacher but that would have cost me over $800 per month. Good thing with this internet, $800 it’s a lot of money for me.

In Classical Arabic you would say: Ayna anta? Ayna=where anta?=you m.?(when talking about a guy) and Ayna anti? Ayna=where anti?=you f.? (when talking about a girl) and where is everybody would be: Ayna al-jamee’? Ayna=where al=the jamee’=group or Ayna kol emar'(emar’a)? Ayna=where kol=all or every emar'(emar’a)=male(female).

Here are the dialectual varieties for the sake of comparison:

Egyptian=Feinak(ik)? Fein=where ak(ik)=m.suffix(f.suffix) or Inta fein?(m.);Inti fein?(f.)

Gulf(Saudi)=Waynak(ik)? Wayn=where ak(ik)=m.suffix(f.suffix)

Iraqi=Wenik(ich)? Wen=where ik(ich)=m.suffix(f.suffix)

Levantine(Lebanon)=Wein inta(inti)? Wein=where inta(inti)=you m.(you f.)

North African(Moroccan)=Feenek? Feen=where ek=you m. and f.
