That would depend on how much gravel is in a bag. Good Luck!!!
Have a great day!!!
Bagged gravel, sand and river rock all come in 1/2 cubic foot bags, weighing about 40 pounds each. 1 cubic yard weighs approx. 1 ton.
1 cubic foot is 12*12*12 inches, or 1728 in3.
46*12 = 552
4*12 = 48
Cubic inches of your plot is 3*48*552 = 79488 cubic inches. This / 1728 is 46 cubic feet.
One cubic yard is 27 cubic feet, so you will need 1.7 cubic yards.
I recommend getting 1.5 yards of bulk gravel, then the remaining 0.2 yards with bags. 0.2 yards is 5.4 cubic feet, or 11 bags. This is based on the bucket size of 1/2 cubic yards, our bobcat is able to load. Our price for gravel is $55 per yard, and $30 per half yard, and $5 per bag. So you’re looking at a general estimated cost of $140 for the gravel. If you get it delivered, add $45.
