How To Use Smooth Recovery In Sims 3?

My Sim is level 10 in Charisma and is married. Someone asked him to use Smooth Recovery for cash. My sim has 12 or 13 friends (Includes his family) and has Eternally Faithful reputation (Don't want to lose that) And I tried what other people say, 'Make it awkward' or 'Be Boring' and I can't make anything awkward and whenever he becomes boring, the apologize option is there. His career is at City Hall, Leader of the Free World and he knows everyone in the neighborhood.

Yeah, that's an annoying one. Usually I just find someone I don't really care about, then use interactions from the Romantic menu. If I only get Apologize, I up the relationship a little bit then try it again. Eventually it will appear. But to be honest, it's so troublesome I usually just don't take the opportunity!... Show More

The interactions are usually in alphabetical order. So, while apologize is often the first option when another Sim thinks your Sim is being creepy, smooth recovery is often buried toward the end of the list.... Show More
