I have a question about Star Wars?

So is it called the Clone Wars or just the Clone War? I’m asking this because in the original Star Wars, Obi-Wan said he was a Jedi in the Clone Wars. However, in other Star Wars media, I hear people call it the Clone War. Which is it?

Nomenclature like this often is driven by your experience of the event. So someone who sees the larger picture might say it was a war, singular. Someone else who saw multiple conflicts with markedly different aims and immediate causes might say wars, plural. This happens IRL also. Some sources call the British civil war of the 15th century the War of the Roses and some call it the Wars of the Roses. Any conflict can be thought of in large scale as a sweeping historical movement, and it can also be thought of as a series of individual battles or campaigns or even completely separate events. We think of WWI and WWII now as separate events, but seen in a larger historical scale, say, 200 or 300 years from now, historians might see it as a continuum because the major players were largely the same....
