You meant 2(3)(2)+4 you get 4(3+4 and that equals 16 so if the x is squared answer is 22 if x is being multiplied by 4 which you wrote as 2×2 then answer is 16
f(x) = 2x^2 + 4
f(3) means putting 3 instead of x in the previous equation
f(3) = 2· 3^2 + 4 = 2· 9 + 4 = 18 + 4 = 22
