If I ask for a plain and dry hamburger what does that mean to you?
When I request a plain and dry hamburger, what does that mean to you? Does this order typically include cheese?

Plain and dry hamburger is hamburger meat cooked and then put on a bun. Nothing else, no condiments, no cheese. A plain and dry cheeseburger has cheese on it though.
plain is no veggies or anything, dry is no sauces, hamburger is no cheese. So just meat on a bun..
if i was behind the counter you get what you ask for a plain dry hamburger no bun not a thing but that.
Plain: no toppings like ketchup, tomato, lettuce
Dry: Cooked well done with no juice or grease
Hamburger: No cheese…that would be a cheeseburger

To me, plain and dry means top bun, burger and bottom bun with Absolutely nothing else.
plain (means no cheese) and dry (would mean you want a burger cooked well on a bun… no condiments, no lettuce, tomatoes, etc…) hamburger.
Of course, I’d ask you what you really want.
i think plain means nothing on it just meat and bun if you want cheese you should say a plain cheeseburger
