In Pokemon Crystal version, where do you get electric pokemon?

I’m all right with any electric type pokemon, but I want it to already be really strong. I don’t have time to level it up too much. So where can I find the strongest possible electric pokemon? Thanks.

It depends how far you are into the game. You have a choice out of: -Pikachu: Only available on Route 2 (lvl 4)-Raichu: Evolve Pikachu with Thunderstone-Magnemite: Mahogany Town (Rocket Hideout) (lvl 25)-Magneton: Evolve Magnemite at level 30 -Voltorb: Same as Magnemite, next to Power Plant (lvl 14)-Electrode: Evolve Voltorb at level 30-Electabuzz: Found next to Power Plant(lvl 15 to 18)-Zapdos: Only tradable from Red, Blue and Yellow-Jolteon: Evolve Eevee with Thunderstone-Pichu: Only hatchable from egg.-Mareep: Only tradable from Silver.-Flaafy: Evolve Mareep at level 15-Ampharos: Evolve Flaafy at level 30-Chinchou: Fish at Routes 26 and 27, New Bark Town, Union Cave, Olivine City, Pallet Town, Vermilion City, Cinnabar Island (with super rod)-Lanturn: Evolve Chinchou at level 27.-Elekid: Only hatchable from egg.-Raikou: Roaming Johto (lvl 40).So, your best bet is to go with either a Voltorb or Magnemite from the Rocket Hideout, or, if you are up for it, Raikou all over Johto.... the best electric type in pokemon crystral would probably be :raikou, but he is one of the runners and may be a hassle to catch. A good electric type would be jolteon, you can get eevee from bill and just evolve it. Ampharos is also pretty decent. You can get it by evolving a mareep, which is pretty common... Show More
