is 69 degrees Fahrenheit cold?
Is 69 degrees Fahrenheit considered a cold temperature? I'm trying to decide if it’s cool enough for me to wear a sweater. I'd appreciate a quick response since I’m new to this platform and still figuring out how it works. Thank you!

Sixty-nine degrees Fahrenheit (20 1/2 degrees C.), isn't cold.
I would say that the threshold for wearing a short-sleeve shirt is 68 degrees F. (20 C.).
Anything under 68 F., you might want to wear either a long-sleeve shirt or a light sweater.
BTW, the same thing is with water: if the temperature is 68 F. or above, I can stay in all day.
But, below that, not too well.

Thats a comfortable temperature, maybe a little chillier than warmer but still comfortable. It also depends where your at. 69 Degrees inside an office might require that you were a jacket or sweater, specially if your in there for a prolonged amount of time & the temperature stays at 69 degrees constantly.
If you are outdoors, wind chill factor, and the clouds and sun can affect how 69 degrees feels. The forecast might say 69 degrees but feels like 64. Thats in windy weather, and 64 degrees is quite cold already. If its cloudy outside to a point where it looks grey and gloomy, it might also be 69 degrees but feel in the lower 60s. If the sun is glaring at 69 degrees, it might feel like 69 degrees or it might feel warmer. Take all those factors into consideration.

RE:
is 69 degrees Fahrenheit cold?
I wanted to see if it would be a suitable temperature for me to wear a sweater. Please answer as soon as possible, it's my first time using yahoo answers so I don't know how this works:)
69 degrees fahrenheit = 20.5 degrees celsius.
So it ain't cold, but it ain't warm neither.
But whether you wear a sweater or not is entirely up to you
and does not depend on what the thermometer says !
No. 69 degrees is gorgeous fall weather. Too warm for a sweater though. wait until it is like 30's 40's to wear it.

No, I don't think so. I would say it's actually quite pleasant. Once it dips below 40, I say it's chilly outside. Keep your sweater with you just in case it does get cold.
People from AZ in the summer would think it's cold. Cripes! They think 105 is cool.
People from the interior of AK would think it's hot.
It's all relative.
