Is a thumbs up emoji an acceptable Thank You?
I recently scored a $25 wine tasting ticket for a friend’s friend. When I texted her to let her know I got it, she responded with just a thumbs-up emoji. I can’t help but feel a bit slighted. Is this considered acceptable now as a way to say "thank you," or is it reasonable to expect a more heartfelt acknowledgment?
