Pablopicasso's girl before a mirror can best be described as a representation of twoideas, or simply it is a form of dualities. As you look closely on thepainting, you can see two different pictures of a girl or woman. The mostobvious difference is the facial expression. The first one portrays a girl whoseemed to be calm and light-hearted while the girl on the mirror looks gloomyand burdensome. The painting also depicts a girl who is all dolled up while theother one portrays the appearance of a girl which is quite dark and heavy incolor.
