Pink/Red Spot on Sandwich Turkey Meat?
I recently opened a packet of Sara Lee deli turkey, and I noticed a red/pink spot on all of the slices. I'm wondering if this meat is still safe to eat. Can someone provide insights on what this discoloration might mean and whether it affects the turkey’s safety? Thank you!

Probably just a collection of spices/coloring that didn’t get mixed in completely, especially if it’s processed turkey.
If you have your doubts, take it back for a refund/exchange.
Pink spots are oil. They could be from other meats, the knife/blade that cut the meat, or anything else that had contact with it.
Sealed in a package, this is normal and perfectly safe.
