Should I give up on her?
I've been talking to this girl for almost five months. Two months ago, she asked me out, but three days later, she told me to forget it and said we should just remain friends, without giving me a clear reason. When I asked why we couldn’t hang out, she finally admitted—after four months of my obvious flirting—that she has feelings for someone else.
A week after her confession, I told her how I felt about her. Afterward, I suggested we keep some distance so I could move on, but I couldn’t stick to it. She then asked if we could stay friends instead, and I agreed. Now, we chat in a friendly manner, but my feelings for her have only grown stronger since.
Do you think there’s still hope for us, or am I stuck in the so-called "friend zone" forever?
