Using purple shampoo as a hair toner?

I just bleached my roots yesterday and it turned golden/orange and the rest of my hair is a platium blonde. I saw a girl on YouTube have a similar color and put purple shampoo on for an hour and it turned her orange hair white blonde. Is that possible? If I leave shimmer lights shampoo on my hair for an hour will the orange turn into a more settle blonde? I’m trying to avoid bleaching my hair again.

for the purple shampoo to work best your hair is supposed to be more of a yellow than an orange, but it won’t hurt too much to just try it and see what happens- shampoo can be damaging to hair though especially if you leave it on for a long time so be careful of that but you might as well give it a shot. i used to use purple shampoo though and generally using it one time wouldn’t make a difference, it was using it every day that eventually made (And kept) my hair white.

It might work bit if not use redken1oz 12av plus. 1oz 12ab n 2oz 20 vol n process 35 min. 1oz is half a tube

Yes it will work. I’ve had the same problem. I left is on for an hour and when I rinsed it out it was the same color as the rest of my hair. Good luck!!
