Very dark urine?
Hi, I’m 16 and recently had a dirt bike accident where I broke my leg pretty badly. I underwent surgery, and the pain has been intense, so I’ve been prescribed Oxycodone for pain relief and Valium as a muscle relaxer to manage spasms. However, I’ve noticed that each time I urinate, the color seems to get darker. Right now, it’s a deep blood-orange shade, almost like iced tea. This has started to concern me. I plan to call the hospital to get it checked out, but before I do, I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced something similar or knows what might be causing this.

Call your doctor IMMEDIATELY –
what you describe can be a symptom of something very serious.
Dark urine can mean a liver or kidney injury, or internal bleeding, or damage from the medications.
Get someone to take you to the hospital- they’re going to want you to be seen.
