Was this actually an accident by Criss Angel?

I rarely watch Criss Angel but today I watched an episode which I believe is in season 5 (or 4). Apparently they nearly chopped a guys head off with a guillotine (it showed that it went about halfway through his neck). It almost made me sick, but was it a real accident or was it fake? Criss Angel kept yelling for someone to call an ambulance and then I turned it off, I'm not too good with blood :S

Hello. The trick is fake. After the commotion settled down, Criss told all the spectators that they had been pranked. The man who apparently had his neck half chopped is actually an actor. They created the blood effect with blood bags witch bust under the blade. The guillotine was also a trick guillotine, not a real one. But one which is used by magicians to create the effect. If you were to keep watching, you would have seen that the whole trick was set up to trick the spectators which were standing on the stage. If it were real, Criss would be sentenced to jail for murder. 🙂

Its fake. I'm pretty sure that if you watch the rest of the episode Criss Angel probably magically healed the wound. If it was really they would not have been able to show the episode on television and it would also mean the end of the Criss Angel show.

Actually he did the trick twice 1st was executed perfectly the 2nd is when everything crashed & burned he actually did the same trick with the same people but he messed up and the man died he was sewed by the family it was all over Google but he paid everybody to take it off the trick was done like 4 or 5 years ago but there you go yes criss angel actually killed somebody with the guillotine trick

Hello, if you paid close attention at the beginning of the video Criss Angel said now this is what we are going to make the illusion look like , when they chopped that head of lettuce in half and they did make it look like that so if you watched the rest of the video then it would tell you that it is not real cause at the end he says you all have been hoaxed. so that tells you that it is not real and he would have been in jail. thank.
