Namaste is not a word found in the English dictionary. What we found is the term "Namaste," a conventional Hindu expression used on meeting or parting, typically while holding the palms together vertically in front of the chest.

It is a greeting commonly used in yoga. The gesture Namaste represents the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us, located in the heart chakra. The gesture is an acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul in another.
