Is Caillou asian??
My friend and I were debating about the character Caillou from the children's show. Specifically, we're trying to figure out if Caillou is Asian or not. I personally don't think he is, but I'd love some clarification to settle this argument. Can anyone help?

He is French Canadian. In French, caillou usually means "pebble" or "stone", but it can also mean "bald head", which was most likely the writer's intention.

It is a Canadian series that originally was in French & translated into English. So he is French-Canadian not Asian.
If you squint your eyes real hard I think Calliou could be amost any nationality. I think he's pretty needy though.
