lewis resonance structure for CH2Br?
What are the Lewis resonance structures for CH2Br? I understand that only pi bonds can change while sigma bonds remain in the same position. For example, one possible structure is "H2C=Br..." with four dots representing lone pairs on the bromine atom. Could someone clarify or provide additional resonance structures?

Please use resonance rule. So H2-C^+-Br. In words, you will have two hydrogen atoms bonded to Carbon atom, Br bonded to C. In this structure, Carbon atom will have + charge, as formal charge, and Br and H2 will have neutral charge. Please you use formal charge rule. I hope this help.
