LOW alto range Disney songs?

Question

I know maybe three songs that I’m good at: “We Are One” from the Lion King 2 (Simba’s part only), surprisingly “I Won’t Say I’m in Love” from Hercules (Meg’s part only) and “Colors of the Wind” from Pocahontas. I have what my choir director would refer to as a darker voice and some songs, while I can sing the notes, just don’t sound right because they were written for people with lighter voices.The thing is, we have a Pops concert next year, which is themed. This year was Time Warp, next year’s Disney, and I’d like to do a solo, maybe an ensemble or duet, but I would like to figure out the song beforehand so when I (or we) audition, it’s ready.Suggestions for songs?

Singing can be learned so it’s not an “either you have it or you don’t” kind of thing. Whether you sound like crap or you’re decent, I recommend this singing course.
