My tonsils turned black!?
About a year ago, I had a really sore throat, so I decided to check it out in the bathroom mirror using a flashlight. I noticed my tonsils were completely covered in white, and I assumed it might be strep throat. The next day, I checked again, and the white areas had started to turn black. By the following day, all the white covering my tonsils had turned completely black. Concerned, I went to the hospital.
At the hospital, I was tested for both strep and mono, but both results came back negative. They prescribed me amoxicillin, and after a few days, the black areas began to fall off. Despite this, I never got a clear answer about what it actually was.
I'm curious if anyone has experienced something similar or knows what this could have been. Thanks!

Mold.
Whatever the color if green, black or white, its sounds like mold.
Next time that happens to you, gargle with salt and warm water.

Know the asteroid wellhead tonsil stones them for many years and it’s been title not eventually.
Best decision I’ve ever made! I was shocked by the way of getting out the stones out. It was so easy, but more importantly, painless. I really liked the little trick he had for preventing gag reflex. He have one happy customer here.
Cure Tonsil Stones Permanently?
teeth turning black means that the tooth had been bleeding inside..that is what you are seeing, the dried blood…that also means that the tooth is dying or is dead. you will see the tooth looking grey. there is no real time limit on it. but from what you describe he took quite a hit. you might need to go back tot he dentist and see what he has to say about treatment. if he is two he can keep those particular teeth until he is 5-7 yrs. more toward the later boys typically develop later. they do do baby root canal treatments..it is not that big of a deal…but i have seen those teeth that are then covered by silver crowns. i know that sounds awful, but there is not too much economical sense to put porcelain in a child’s mouth…but i am sure that you Dr could offer that to you too. check with the dentist….if you see the teeth changing color…i would. i would be more concerned about the developing adult teeth…the concern would be if the front teeth hit the tooth buds in the accident….or allowing the dying teeth to develop an infection harming the tooth buds of those adult front teeth. again, the best thing is to stay in contact with your dentist and have him/her check to see what he is observing!
