What does it mean when a label indicates that paint must be tinted before use? Could you provide more details about the tinting process and its importance in achieving the desired color and finish?

The guy at the paint store adds the selected tint to a white base paint. You can get them to alter the tint somewhat to customize it, but most of it is computerized.
paint that has to be tinted is paint that you customize the color of the paint. you have to tint it to make the specific color you want.
