LS, LT, and LTZ are letters which designate the trim line of a Chevrolet. The letters by themselves mean nothing. Each designation comes from the factory with a different package of standard equipment and certain options are not available on certain trim lines. Just decide which options you must have or want and the trim level you want to buy will become obvious. It has nothing to do with durability, everything to do with cost.
