see, sometimes, i forget to turn off my flat iron in the morning cause i’m in a rushso when i get home from school, like 8 hours lateri remember that i left my flat iron on all daywhat does this do to my flat iron? if i leave it on all day sometimesdoes it like burn out the plates or something?please and thankyou

i did this once ð®bad idea lol.it doesnt burn out the plates on yur straightner actually it doesnt do any damage at all. it will still work fine n everything just be sure to turn it off or unplug it right after your done using it when you go to skool in the morining.

I mean its ok, meaning i dont think it would do any damage to the flat iron, but it can burn ur house down, and ur electricty bill would be very high. Try to set reminders around ur house or on ur cellphone so u wont forget! Good luck

Well i did that once and i left it on for like 12 hours and it was on the highest setting and since i have a crappy hair Straightener it melted a little bit.

Sometimes they have an automatic off switch if you are not using it, if it was still hot when you came home it doesn’t if it was off it probably automatically turned off or died, plug it in to see if it heats back up, I’ve done that before luckily mine was an auto off…g/l!

that happens to me a lot too and it ê±á´cÎºs cuz the wood furniture that I leave it on has alot of burnt spots now, but just to be on the safe side turn it off so nothing catches on fire.
