What happens if you wear Ugg boots in the rain? What materials are Ugg boots made from, and are imitation Uggs made from the same materials?

Uggs are made out of sheepskin. They get damp and turn darker than normal on the wet spot (like anything would). They will dry back to normal (especially if you water proof them) but you may not be able to switch the color when you run your hand over it (not a dramatic color change, just like suede or w/e would change). 🙂 However, it is better not to wear them in the rain because they last many more years if you don’t.
Fake uggs are made out of sheepskin, or sometimes fake sheepskin, depending on what the brand is. The difference is usually in the padding on the inside (Uggs use shearling I think, while other brands use less of it or fake fur type stuff) or the stitching. However, the same thing happens (at least when I compare the Ugg boots and Bearpaw clogs I have) to either kind when in the rain.

Generally, if you wear UGGS in the rain, they get really wet. The top of them will get darker because they are saturated with water. If it is raining hard enough, then your toes might even get wet. To help prevent this, you can spray them with water repellent spray. I still wouldn’t recommend wearing them in the rain because if this happens often enough, then they get floppy, and the tops get spotted with rain damage. Real UGGS are made with sheepskin, and suede. The fake ones aren’t as nice. They can be made with anything. Sheepskin, fleece, even plastic. Real ones are worth the money if you are looking for a nice shoe to keep your feet warm in cold, dry weather. The problem is that everyone and I mean EVERYONE walks around with them on, so they aren’t very original. This is why I prefer my Nike 6.0’s… Good luck
uggs real ones are made of sheep skin and fake ones are made of cotton and they dry well in the rain. the real ones will get water marks.
Fake uggs are just cotton. and they look suede but aren’t. They dry like normal, without damage.
you will desire to no longer placed on them in the two particularly snow, it fairly is a completely destructive theory to placed on uggs in the snow this is going to destroy the shoe/suede. infrequently placed on them in the rain, in case you do, then they’d desire to have a thick sole and a suede protectant on the textile so it does not get ruined.
