I love to do a bowl of tomato soup with it. If you are thinking quick and non cooking though – what about cherry tomatoes, some fresh fruit cut up and mixed together or a big pile of carrot sticks? The grilled cheese is high in fat so steer clear of sides like chips or crackers and choose fruits or veggies. ? Amy http://www.lunchtaker.com/

Anything with tomatoes compliments grilled cheese. Be it tomato soup, tomato and cucumber salad, or even a bit of pasta with tomato sauce, it’s all good. The acidity of the tomato just really goes well with the flavor of the cheese.
Now you’ve given me the taste for spaghetti with Parmesan cheese and garlic bread lol.
I absolutely can’t STAND tomato soup. I vote for sweet pickles. yeah, I know they’re full of sugar, but they’re also vinegary and cut the buttery, fatty taste of grilled cheese.
Just how many of these berry or vegetable questions will we see recently?
Besides tomato soup, I prefer a thick hearty vegetable soup or bowl of chili.
Hearty chili or a caponata (made with eggplant, celery, tomatoes, onions and olives). You can buy this in a can or a jar (at Trader Joe’s) if you don’t want to make it yourself.
Tomato soup, french fries, salad, chicken fingers, fish sticks (just to name a few of my favorites.) ?
Oh and mac n cheese
