The main purpose of the ozone layer is protecticting us from the UV (Ultra Violet) Radiations. These harmful eletromagnetic waves can not pass the ozone layer.... Show More

The ozone layer forms a thin shield in the upper atmosphere, protecting life on Earth from the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays.
