what is a tassel unit?
I need to order graduation supplies, and in the packet, it lists the gown, cap, tassel, and something called a "tassel unit." I’m not sure what a tassel unit is. Could someone explain?

Some students order an extra tassel for their Mom's. My daughter did for me both times, she graduated.
Anyone on "Answers" will only be wild guessing, since we are not able to see the "it" which you are talking about, which asks the question. A good guess is that a "cap and gown unit" involves the entire outfit, including the cap, gown, tassel, and anything else you are supposed to be wearing. But the best course of action is to look at the material which came with the paper you are supposed to fill out. Is there a way to contact the company which provides the caps and gowns and ask directly? Is there a graduation coordinator at your school (a teacher who is in charge of graduation) who can tell you what to do? Can you check with a counselor? Is it possible that someone in the main office of the school can tell you? Any of those sources is probably better than a "wild guess."
