I heard that they are releasing the dubbed version of "Inuyasha: The Final Act" this year, but I've also heard that the voice actors for Sesshomaru and Kagome have been changed. I was just wondering why that decision was made, as it's been bothering me.

Sesshoumaru’s origonal voice actor Davi Kaye couldn’t do it because he’s moved from Vancouver Canada (where the dubbing for the series is done) to Los Angeles. This info came straight from his answer to a fan’s question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6vnCJCaoqc&feature…
As far as I know, no reason has been given as to why Kagome’s voice actor was replaced. Wikipedia mentions that she is “a FORMER Canadian voice actress,” so perhaps she simply no longer does voice work. Though since it’s Wikipedia, take this info with a grain of salt.

It’s been a long time since the original InuYasha. The voice acting cast has moved on, it’s no surprise that some of them weren’t available.
