why is CH3SH polar?

the electronegativity difference between C and S: 2.5 - 2.5 is almost 0, which means molecule should be non polar, right? C and H diff is 2.5 - 2.1 is 0.4, which also should be classified as non polar??

Methanethiol polar....Despite the fact that the electronegativity differences are small, the molecule is asymmetrical and has a significant net dipole moment (1.52D) .....H..... |H−C−S ............... two lone pairs on S..... |.... .... H ....H It is the asymmetry and the two lone pairs, plus the slight electronegativity differences that give CH3SH it's net dipole moment.... Show More
