Can hamsters eat banana?
Can hamsters safely eat bananas, and if so, what are the recommended serving sizes and potential health benefits or risks associated with feeding them this fruit?

Yes you can but only small amounts , I would not recommend if you do not have a bowl because otherwise all the sawdust sticks to it. Otherwise its fine but if you see your hamster isn’t eating it straight away remove it because it will go rotten in a few hours and if she/he decides to eat it then it will make them ill. Also make sure someone in your house likes it or you will find yourself throwing the rest that you did not feed to your hamster away LOL!
Happy Hamstering !

yes,but you have to give them a small amount and little by little and theylle start getting used to them
Yes they can if it is the small ones
It would be a bad idea to make bananas a major part of your hamster’s diet because it would not be balanced nutritionally. If your hamster does like bananas and other fresh fruit, you might let it have a little bit occasionally as a treat.
Don’t give it a whole banana: cut it in little bits and you could give it 1-4 bits depending on how small the bits are
Yes they can eat bannana as a treat but if it is fresh bannana it must be taken out of their cage if they dont eat it all as it can go mouldy and they could get ill.
Dried banana is inlcuded in alot of dreid food mixes so it is completely fine.
By the way do not give to much fresh fruit as they can get ill also i know that syrians can eat banana and other fresh fruits but i dont know about dwarf hamsters and other breeds.
Hope this helps

Yes hamsters can eat bananas but if they start to get upset tummies then its best not to feed it again but your little hammie should be fine eating it.
