i want to turn part of my hair white. i left the bleach on for about and hour and it turned out golden. can i bleach it again today?

If your hair has lifted to a yellow gold color, you don’t need to bleach again. and if you want your hair white, you definately don’t want to bleach again. you need to get a platinum toner, or a very ashey light pale blonde color, I’d recommend either 12A clairol color or a platinum toner. I’d rather use the color than the toner, personally. Mix one part color with two parts 40 volume developer and leave it in your hair for about an hour. It will be way better for your hair than bleaching it a second time. trust me, I’ve colored my hair white before using both a toner and a color. bleaching more than once will be very harsh on your hair and you’ll spend a lot of money on conditioners throughout the month, I used to spend 60 dollars a month on conditioners.

Bleach only stays active for about 45 minutes. If it did not lift enough in the first 45 minutes you would have to start over. You can do it again , but be careful and test it often. Your hair will not repair itself if you wait one day or three weeks after it leaves your scalp it is essentially a dead material.

NO! bleaching it twice in one day will ruin your hair completely, wait at least three days before you bleach again becuase that way the natural oil from ur roots will nurish the hair and bleaching again will make it not as harmful. Remeber to leave your hair unwashed before bleaching it, this helps the colour stay longer and look better.

you have to be very careful with bleach. you should probably wait at least 2-3 weeks before you bleach it again..

I wouldn’t recommend it. You might be able to do it, but you have a good chance of it totally destroying your hair.
