can i drink beer and vodka in the same night?
I've read somewhere that mixing types of alcohol might not be a good idea, but I can't find that information anymore. I tried searching online, but I still haven't found anything about it. Should I just stick to one type of drink for the night? Is there a risk of alcohol poisoning or other negative effects if I drink beer and vodka on the same night? Your advice would be greatly appreciated!

Liquor before beer, have no fear. Beer before liquor, never been sicker.
It’s a good rule of thumb to stick to. If your just worried about some sickening chemical reaction in your stomach, fear not for it shouldn’t be a problem. Some people are different than others though so start slow and gauge how you feel
You can mix both, drink a shot and chase it with beer. It is easier on the stomach. It is always best to eat food before drinking because it slows the absorption of alcohol and reduces the irritation to the GI tract which could eventually cause ulcers and other problems. limit the amount of vodka, and my advice is to stick to mostly beer. Liquor can get your blood alcohol level very high fast if you are drinking it straight, or mixing it yourself. Yes you could get alcohol poisoning drinking the hard stuff, and there are many people who have died from it, but not from mixing the two.

I think the whole liquor before beer, you’re in the clear; beer before liquor, never been sicker thing is an urban myth. I mix all kinds of alcohol together all the time and have never been sick. The only time I have was when I mixed Burger King Whoppers, NoS energy drinks, vodka, and beer all together within the span of like 4 hours. NOT A GOOD IDEA lol! ?
It doesn’t really affect me, being drunk one night I actually mixed vodka into a beer and drank it. You’ll be fine. Just don’t have a stomach full of beer and then go taking shots. Wait for the beer to go down some

i mean, i read something once about not mixing alcohol, but i can’t find it anymore, and i googled it but i cant find anyting about it. help? should i just stick to one? could i get poisoned/whatever?
Depends on your tolerance. I personally can have beer then shots then beer again and be fine. It depends ON you. Start off slow and have one or two beers and one vodka drink and go from there and see what happens.

No, you can only get sick and ill if you mix drinks such as bailey’s, schnapps etc and you can get sick if you mix many different types of alcohol. But vodka and beer, no.
