Can roshe runs be used for basketball?
I would like to play basketball this year; I couldn't participate last year due to a broken collarbone. I'm considering whether I can use Nike Roshe Runs for basketball, as I really like their design and find them affordable. Do you think they would be suitable for playing the sport?

I wouldn t use them for basketball. Why? Because the sole is soft and you can roll your ankles playing in them due to the bigger sole; in addition, the material is cheap…they can be ripped easily. Roshe runs are meant for walking around; however, I do see people make some review on them for running.
My personal opinion, if it enhance your performance, you can. I played in my free runs until the sole was worn it, which it did in a short time because the sole was soft, but it was one of the first low top shoes I played in for outdoor(my first low top for indoor was the jordan 1 low), and after that I continued playing in low tops. I went and bought/played in the KD7, and it had amazing traction, and the rubber is hard and tough, so it s really difficult for the grip to disappear.
If you want something cheap to play in, you can always look around nike for clearance and then type in the shoe names on youtube for review or do eBay(i prefer because you can get it for dirt cheap).
