Can you make a male baby sitter pay child support?

I'm a single mother attending college with my sister, and we currently rent an apartment together. A couple of weeks ago, I asked my neighbor, a trustworthy man, if he could watch my children for two hours while I went to class and my sister wasn't home, and he agreed. If he babysits and doesn’t accept payment, can I sue him for child support because he took on a fatherly role? I'm confident that I could present a convincing case in court that he accepted a fatherly role.

Seriously?

No.

The "fatherly role" bit you speak of deals w/ someone who actually took on a true fatherly role. A neighborly 2-hr favor doesn't cut it. Not even close. Not even REMOTELY close.

And what the heck kind of person are you who returns a favor with a lawsuit? Oy. Those children need a role model.

People like you make me sick! This guy is helping you out and you're trying to sue him for something that he isn't responsible for. Babysitting is not "taking on a fatherly role." If that were the case, every babysitter in America should be paying child support to those baby mamas with no baby daddys. If the child's biological father died 7 years ago, you should be receiving death benefits already. And I know this because I received them for almost 20 years

Simply put. The fatherly role you speak of is for the biological father. The baby sitter is simply a 3rd party in this situation. No precedents have been set to help your argument. Also if you brought this to trial, the judge would probably remove your children for many reasons.

Lol, have to answer this one. Sure, you can TRY to sue him; but I hope the court system takes away your kid, and tells you to stop going to college because you're obviously not getting an education. I hope this was a troll post.

This has got to be a joke, seriously, is there anyone who can be that ignorant and, oh wait, I'm not even going to waste my time on this

No you cannot, In fact if you did bring this to court you would most likely lose your children. The fact that you would even think of doing this is not only disgusting and morally reprehensible, but also clearly shows you have absolutely no business being a mother as your obviously both completely brain dead and lack and morals. Please go die in a hole

There is a special level in hell for people like you. It's a place reserved for child molesters and people who talk in the theater.

I doubt the story about the father dying in a car accident. I bet you "F*****d" around so much that you don't know who the real father is and just want a meal ticket to pay your way in life.

Put down the ƈɾąƈƙ pipe! You could not convince a insane lawyer to even take this one. If you happened to actually make it to a courtroom a judge would contemp you for wasting the courts time.
