I’m an Australian woman, 28 years old, and I’ve recently met a Croatian man who is 25. He is very attractive and has expressed that he finds me attractive as well. He has mentioned wanting marriage and children in the future, though not necessarily with me. I’m curious about whether non-Croatian women are accepted in the Croatian community, especially since I’m not Catholic. 
He has worked in the nightclub industry and has told me that he often meets the wrong types of girls; he definitely doesn’t want someone who is into clubbing. Given this context, what do you think about our situation? Do you believe it could work? I’ve heard that Croatian men, though this may be a generalization, often seek good women to be their wives and mothers of their children, and that they are hardworking. However, I also wonder if they can be playboys.

i can only speak as a man , most of us want a good woman or a woman who is working at being good ,for a wife and mother of our children , not that women who work in clubs or other jobs cannot be , but i believe it is a matter of choice because love does conqueror all.

What you are talking about are stereotypes. There are, of course, Croatian playboys, just like there are Australian playboys. Non-Croatians usually don`t have problems being accepted into the community, there are people from all over the world, and of all religions. It shouldn`t be so hard for you, especially considering you speak English, most Croatians speak it too (apart from the 50+ generation). My advice is: don`t judge him by the stereotype, but by who he is. Hope this helps:)

if he wants a good girl now it’s probably because he was with bad girls before, so be carefull cause they are the worst they look for a good girl but it’s after they had all the bad ones, and that’s who they like to have in the side when they have a good girl! so make sure he wants only a good girl for real!

It doesn’t matter the background of two people that like each other.
All that matters is what you have brought to the table…. your attitude and charm and thoughts… everything that makes you who you are….. religion and race and every other segregating factor should not come into play…. ever.
