how do i remove sand from a portable basketball goal base?
We need to move our portable basketball goal, but we’ve filled the base with sand, making it too heavy to relocate. Do you have any suggestions for how to remove the sand to make it easier to move?

Try a shop vac. Be sure to empty it often. This will only work on dry sand – not wet packed sand.
If it is already wet, try putting a garden hose in it to flush out the sand.
If not moving very far, try a dolly under the goal for lifting/moving purposes.
I’m sure there’s a little hole on there. Is there any way you can vacuum it out (just so that you have a place to put the sand)? I know it sounds stupid, but it’s just a thought.
