How do you find the product of 36?
I have a chart that states "Product and Exponential Notation," but I'm having trouble understanding both concepts. Can someone please help me? Specifically, I would like to know what the product of 36 is and how to express it in exponential notation. Thank you!

Okay:
Product-the number you get when you multiply two things together. ex. 3x3= 9. Nine is the product.
Exponential Notation-That's just a different way to write the number. For example, you can say 3^2 (which is the same thing as 3 with a little 2 in the corner). It still means 9, because it is 3x3
So for your chart. You have 36. What number multiplied by itself equals 36?
(Hint: try this...)
1x1=1
2x2=4
3x3=9
etc.
What ever number multiplied by itself equals 36, that's your root, so that number squared is your answer.
Hope this helps!
The product is usually the numbers multiplied together but it's not properly set up. either a (x) or a point separates the three and six. 6 squared is second question
