How does ‘this is just to say’ reflect imagist poetry?

How does “This Is Just to Say” reflect the principles of imagist poetry? The poem depicts a situation occurring in the kitchen, mimicking the tone of a casual note left there. Can you explain how this setting contributes to the imagist qualities of the poem, particularly in terms of vivid imagery and clarity of emotion?

This poem was written by William Carlos William.freely written. It followed no pattern but continuously written.  It has a sort of rhythm making it fond to hear. It was an ordinary poem of food. It only tells an appreciation of reserved food for breakfast which the author ate one day.

Since the poem describes a situation happening in the kitchen, it resembles a note left in there:I have eatenthe plumsthat were in the iceboxand whichyou were probablysaving for breakfastForgive methey were deliciousso sweetand so coldThe poem might not have a proper rhythmic or iambic structure, but it doesn't lack emotion or description since the author conveys them with a simple language. The correct answer is B.

Imagist poetry or more commonly known as the Imagism is a certain kind of poetry wherein pictures were described in such a simple manner but with great accuracy as what it is depicted. Therefore, the poem "This Is Just to Say" reflects imagism because "The poet presents a clear central image using direct language."
