How many milliseconds are in a year?
Could someone please assist me in calculating the number of milliseconds in a year? Thank you!

A millisecond is 1/1000 of a second. So, there are 1000 milliseconds in a second.
Now… there are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day, and 365.25 days in a year – so:
60 X 60 X 24 X 365.25 is the number of seconds, and then multiply this by 1000: 31,557,600 X 1000 = 31,557,600,000 milliseconds
Technically all of the above answers are wrong. The mean solar day is 24 hours and 2 milliseconds long (the Earth’s rotation has slowed a bit since we defined the length of a second and day).
So, there are 86400002 milliseconds in a day, giving us 31536000730 milliseconds in a year.
Actually you guys are all wrong. There are actually 100 milliseconds in a second .So….. There are 3,155,760,000. Sorry for not writing down the formula like that guy which explain everything .But my answer is a true fact.I hope I got picked as best answer. ?
There are about 31556926 (thirty-one and a half million) seconds in a year, which translates to about 31556926000 (thirty-one and a half billion) milliseconds.
Get the number of seconds in one sidereal year which is 31,556,926.2797 seconds and multiply it by 1000 and you get 31,556,926,279.7 milliseconds accurate to one decimal..

There are 31,556,926,000 milliseconds in one tropical year (from one vernal equinox to the next one).
