How to resize in Paint Tool SAI?

I'm trying to resize just the head of my sketch (it's too big), but every time I select it with the select tool and press scale, it says "Transformed image empty". How can I fix this? I'm currently in a line-art layer, btw.

you can't transform/scale on a linework layer... ^^,if you really want to transform your lines, you should first rasterize the linework layer, to do this, create a new layer then merge it down the linework layer, but you won't be able to edit the linearts after you do this...... Show More

To re-size a picture in paint tool, there will be horizontal and verticle text entry box. You need to increase the value or decrease the value depending on the size of the image.... Show More

You can, actually.Go and select a part of the lineart. Click the selection tab on the toolbar. Now click 'select strokes'.Ta-da! You can now mess around with the lineart.... Show More
