I had something stolen in my dream, what does this mean?

Its been a rough summer so my dreams have become a bit dramatic. I’ve been looking up dream interpretations and they definitely match my reality. Last night i had an odd dream. I had a dream i was going to a friends place, a friend another friend has warned me about, for no real reasons, other than the fact that he’s paranoid, but he has some points. So while im going up to this friend’s (the one i’ve been warned about) its not his typical place. its almost like a dark, dirty dungeon with a spiral staircase. i didnt feel uncomfortable though…anyway in the hallway there are homeless people sleeping there and they steal my bag, look in it and decide what the want before running away with my stuff. As this is happening, my friend had already proceeded to go upstairs and i try screaming for him, but i couldnt for whatever reason. my friend comes eventually and throws the homeless guy out but hasnt retrieved my stuff. Me being traumatized, by this weird experience and the fact that at THIS point in my life, i esp. dont need people stealing from me. i remember being really upset and reluctantly looking through my bag to see what the had stolen. Stuff was rearranged, but nothing had actually been stolen…except for my ipod. I remembered thinking, “well, my ipod is broken and my battery dsnt last for more than a half hr. so its not that big of a deal. im going to get a new one next week.” (true story, though) but later i remember getting over the incident, seeing as i hadnt lost anything important and then all of a sudden i remember feeling my ipod in my hand. dont know how it got there, but it was there. What exactly does it mean when you feel like something’s been stolen from you, but you’ve essentially had it the whole time? one of those ‘false alarm’ things. thanks in advance!
