Toshiba error E25 – Toshiba DVR620 DVD Recorder/VCR?

This just started on Sunday after many years of usage. I had recorded the walking dead then the E25 popped up, nothing happened before that I recorded stuff. I unplugged it and held the power ᴮᵁᵀᵀon for 10 seconds. I think I found that the problem is that the lens in the recorder needs cleaning so before I commit to any path just check to see if theres anything else I can do
