and for the right reasons? to not have a panty line of course! i am getting a dress and in order to not see what I am wearing underneath, a thong would be a good choice! I've never had a thong but I think its fine for a girl my age to wear one as long as I wasnt letting anyone else know I was ... like pulling it above my pants onto my hips or w.e... just to avoid panty lines, But my mother seems iffy.I never thought a 50 year old woman with ɴιᴘᴘʟᴇ and belly button piercing with several tattoos would be so uptight =/ lol

It's okay if you only wear it with the dress, but I can see why mothers would be upset if you wore them on more than one occassion. I mean they do sell them to young girls, so there are girls who wear them, but personally, I think thongs are skanky.

Yep. Its definately time for you to make the transition to thongs. You'll feel more confident because you wont be worring about pantylines ruining how great you look in your new dress. In fact, you should try wearing a candy thong so just in case you get stranded on a deserted island you can eat your underwear.

I think its fine. I wish I would have discovered thongs along time ago. I dont wear anything but thongs. I wear them because I hate it when underwear ride up and with thongs they are already there! LOL! You dont even notice your wearing them. Just make sure if your wearing a dress its not able to blow up and show what your wearing underneath.

lol I got my first thong when i was 13 just to feel grown up, and i stopped wearing them until i was 15. then i started wearing them everyday just to avoid pantylines. I agree they look bad, and yes you are definetly old enough 🙂
