it’s French, “bisoux” literally means “kisses”, in an affectionate wayedit : “bisou” is singular, and “bisoux” is pluraledit : yes, Shtack, it’s just that people write xxxx as symbols for kisses, and then tend to write it with an x, and also because some words in French ending in “ou” get their plural with “x” not “s”
Plural of bisou is bisous…We write bisoux time to time just to change the spelling from the usual one, just like you can write bizoo, bizou and so on, but they aren’t right spelling, and use only it with your friends. Most of children at primary school learnt the following poem, which helps you to remember which word ending with “ou” has a plural with”x”.have a look: http://md87.ouvaton.org/spip.php?article104
For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/DqcGxciao also means hello… Italians use the french word “bijoux” for something that is very pretty ad smart … “sei un bijoux” means ” You are very pretty and smart”… so “ciao bijoux” means “hello/bye, pretty girl ( usually is refered to a female)” —- Bonjour! is right , if you mean “bisous”, the translation is “Hello/bye, kisses”, even if in Italy this expression is not used … I’ve never heard someone says “Ciao, bisous”, but I’m not saying that it is impossible… Maybe the person who has said this, wanted to show her skills in french… Moreover for a lot of people french is a very romantic language, so, maybe, this people wanted to be romantic …
Ephy’s right, but plural for bisou is bisouS and not bisoux. Putting an “x” is a common mistake.

what does it mean? can you sign a letter with this? what does it mean when spelled bisou bisou?
Ciao is “bye” in italian Bisoux is “kisses” in french. There is a mistake here, a lot of people, especially young ones, write “bisoux” instead of “bisous” So, “ciao bisous” is “bye, kisses.” ——— EDIT : although the title of the message says “bisoux” and not “bijoux”, maybe it’s possible that there was a typo ? Was the person Italian ? If so, it was definitely a typo and he meant “bijoux”, like the other persons said…
